commonwealth christian academy     "Train up a child in the way he should go;             and when he is old, he will not depart from it..."  Proverbs 22:6 Children face many perils in our society:  widespread drug use, sexual behavior with resulting illegitimacy and disease, violence, poverty, and a sense of despair.  The problems are even worse in an urban community populated by welfare mothers and absentee fathers. The public school system recognizes these problems, but is powerless to win what are essentially spiritual battles, because God has been kicked out of public schools.    We are convinced that a godly school, working with a motivated family and Biblical church, can make a difference for life.
